  • A typical visit to the Museum of Illusions lasts at least 1 hour. This depends on the pace you set. You’ll need about an hour to experience and understand each illusion. For the more adventurous we also have brain teaser games to solve, which can take from 30 minutes to an hour.

  • There are two ways to book tickets for the Museum of Illusions Brussels: online and on site.

    For on-site reservations, please go to the Museum of Illusions reception desk. Please note that we are cashless: we only accept cards at the museum (no cash).

     

    We recommend booking online during school vacations to avoid long waits at the entrance.

  • We are part of the Brussels Card deal. Therefore, all Brussels Card holders enjoy a €2 discount.

    While we’re not officially affiliated with Museum Pass, we’re delighted to extend a €2 ticket discount to all museumPASS holders.

    These discounts can be only used if you buy tickets at the reception in the museum.

    Articles 27 cards are not accepted by the Museum of Illusions Brussels.

  • By car:

    We’re located in the heart of Brussels, between Place de la Monnaie and Place De Brouckère, next to Rue Neuve. We don’t have our own parking lot at the Museum of Illusions. Visitors arriving by car can use the nearest pay parking lots: d’Interparking La Monnaie and Interparking Écuyer.

    By Train:

    The Museum of Illusions is an 8-minute walk from Bruxelles-Centrale station.

    By Bus / Metro / Tram:

    The Museum is less than a minute’s walk from the De Brouckère stop. Use the following public transport lines (STIB network):

    Métro: 1 and 5

    Tram: 3 and 4

    Bus: 29, 46, 71, 88, 89

    For each family ticket purchased, enjoy one hour of complimentary parking at any InterParking location in Brussels. Please inquire at the museum reception to claim your free parking hour.

  • Yes, the Museum of Illusions Brussels aims to be inclusive and ensures access for people with disabilities. Apart from a few illusions, the rest of the 60+ illusions are fully accessible for wheelchairs.
    We also have an elevator providing access to the museum and PRM toilets.

  • Food and drinks are not permitted inside the museum with the exception of bottled water.

  • For group visits, please send an e-mail to info@museumofillusions.be, clearly indicating the number of people in the group and the desired date.

    Please send an email at least 15 days before the visit.

  • At the Museum of Illusions Brussels, you’ll find explanations of each illusion in French, Dutch, English and German.

    Our staff and guides speak French, Dutch and English.

  • Only small dogs that fit in a dog carrier bag are allowed to visit the museum. However, we do organize special events when pets are allowed to visit the museum.
