Museum of Illusions in Brussel te ervaren - een buitengewone interactieve caleidoscoop gemaakt door de bekende Nederlandse kunstenaar&nbsp;<strong>Monique Verbruggen (1957).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\ud83c\udfa8<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;Ontmoet de kunstenaar: Monique Verbruggen<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Al meer dan 35 jaar verlegt de Nederlandse glaskunstenares&nbsp;<strong>Monique Verbruggen<\/strong>&nbsp;de grenzen van de glaskunst. Ze beheerst technieken als glas in lood, fusing en zandstralen om ingewikkelde kunstwerken te cre\u00ebren. Ge\u00efnspireerd door haar dansachtergrond en betoverd door jeugdherinneringen aan spiegels en reflecties van haar moeders kaptafel, vangt Verbruggens werk de magie van licht en beweging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2024&nbsp;<strong>schonk Verbruggen deze buitengewone caleidoscoop aan het Museum of Illusions<\/strong>&nbsp;om haar passie voor interactiviteit en visuele verhalen met een breder publiek te delen.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\ud83c\udf08<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;Stap in de caleidoscoop<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deze adembenemende caleidoscoop van gesmolten glas en aluminium wordt momenteel tijdelijk tentoongesteld en is een van de slechts zes ooit gemaakt. Het werk bestaat uit drie grote glazen wielen, elk prachtig versmolten met ingewikkelde afbeeldingen zoals figuren, bomen en delicate vormen. Bezoekers worden uitgenodigd om aan deze wielen te draaien, waardoor de beelden in de caleidoscoop worden geprojecteerd. Bij elke draai verschuiven en bewegen de beelden en combineren ze op eindeloze manieren,&nbsp;<strong>zodat je je eigen unieke verhaal of beeld kunt cre\u00ebren<\/strong>. Geen twee ervaringen zijn hetzelfde, waardoor het een meeslepende, praktische reis door een wereld van licht, schaduw en kleur wordt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zoals ze vertelde aan&nbsp;<em>Glas Magazine<\/em>: de werken \"trekken echt je aandacht en laten je verwonderen. De beelden komen tot leven en vertellen elke kijker iets heel anders....Ik zie vaak dat bezoekers helemaal opgaan in hun ervaring...dit leidde vaak tot bijzondere gesprekken tussen bezoekers die elkaar helemaal niet kenden\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\ud83c\udf1f<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;Mis het niet!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Er bestaan slechts zes van deze prachtige caleidoscopen, dus dit is een unieke kans om het kunstenaarschap van Monique Verbruggen van dichtbij mee te maken.
